Procedure for my lot or unit's handover

Consider the following conditions to schedule the handover date of your unit and/or lot.

A unit and/or lot can only be delivered once the client has paid 100% of the unit and/or lot's value, including extras and modifications.

The handover date for your unit and/or lot will be subject to availability of the calendar of the  Owner Services department. It is essential to have a date confirmed by them before making travel arrangements, including booking flights and/or accommodation, to avoid complications.

Documentation required for delivery

It is important to determine whether the unit will be delivered to a natural or moral person, and whether the unit is being delivered directly or through a third party:

      • Direct delivery to a natural person: Present valid official identification.
      • Delivery to a Foreign Legal Entity: Present valid official identification and a notarized power of attorney where you are named the company's legal representative.
      • Delivery through a third party: Present valid official identification and a notarized power of attorney for Mexican citizens, or an apostilled notarized power of attorney for foreign nationals.
      • If the property has more than one owner, every owner must be present at the time of delivery or, alternatively, designate, through a notarized power of attorney (in the case of Mexican citizens) or an apostilled notarized power of attorney (in the case of foreign nationals), an authorized person to receive the unit and this person must present a valid official identification and a printed copy of it, the day of the delivery. The original notarized and apostilled power of attorney must be handled to the owner services representative the day of the delivery.

Considerations during delivery

  • A detailed inspection of the appliances' operation, the quality of the finishes, and the unit's furnishings will be carried out, in accordance with the provisions of the corresponding contract.
  • You'll sign your conformity in the delivery certificate, where you'll have the option to record any minor discrepancies found during the inspection; these will be addressed at a later date.
  • Please note that if you'd like for the contractors of your choice to further adapt or furnish your unit, you can only grant them access after your unit has been delivered to you.
    • What can I do if I can't be present for the delivery?
      • If you, as owner of the unit and/or lot, are unable to attend on the handover date, you must send the following documents to Owner Services: a copy of the notarized power of attorney where you name the person who will receive the property in your place.
      • Mexican citizens must send a notarized power of attorney; foreign nationals must send an apostilled notarized power of attorney; and an official ID.
